Lonergan's Leading Ideas
Date : May 30th to June 1st of 2008 ![]() Venue : Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.Details : The topic of the conference will be "Lonergan's Leading Ideas". Papers are invited. The topic is that of Part 3 of the book, Bernard Lonergan: His Life and Leading Ideas, by Pierrot Lambert and Philip McShane, to appear in 2009 in English and French and, later, in other languages. The principal speaker, Dr. Philip McShane, Professor Emeritus, Mount Saint Vincent University, will provide participants with the relevant sections of the book, to be covered in his three lectures. The formal conference will take place from Friday evening May 30th to Sunday evening June 1st, but will be followed by three days of less formal sessions with Dr. McShane for those interested.
